PTO Meeting Minutes 1/17/2024

Principal Report- Dr. V
•  Kindergarten Registration is now open – It is important to register your child as early as possible. No paperwork is necessary to register now!

Party on the Pavement- Beth Crider and Stacie Weffelmeyer
•  Friday, April 19
•  Kona ice, coffee truck, pretzel boys to donate, bubble van for 1hr
•  cougar chorus party same night 4-6
•  possibly ask boy scouts/ girl scouts to sell hot dogs/ cookies?                                                                                                                  
Sweetheart Dance- Beth Crider and Stacie Weffelmeyer
•  Friday, Jan 19ᵗʰ
•  volunteers report at 5:30, doors open at 6:20
•  191 tickets sold so far - wristbands to be sent home in Friday folders.

Spring Event- Rachel Dill
•  tables are for 8 people max - can purchase tickets individually or as an entire table.
•  looking for more donations for silent auction items
•  open bar, bring your own food.
•  flyers to be printed and sent home in Friday folders next week.
•  Send out sign up genius to Teachers first then to the Families
•  silent auction will be on same app as last year                                                                                                                                          
5ᵗʰ Grade Celebration
•  Jodi has a few years books from the past two years if anyone needs one.
•  First 5ᵗʰ Grade Celebration meeting is 2/24 at 4:15 in the 5ᵗʰ Grade Pod.

•  2/23-3/8 we will kick of with PJ or Stuffy day for $1
•  Rewards will be determined by the class that wins!                                                                                                                                   
Treasurer’s Budget Update- Mandy Madigan and Natalie Ehlenbeck
•  $757 from square one
•  The new bball nets/backboards will be installed as soon as we get the brackets in.
•  Voted “YES” to replace the projector & screen in the gym and soccer nets using the Bowles Bucks 
money.

•  yearbooks - same company - links for photos coming soon on friends of page and parent

PTO President Updates
•  There are open PTO positions for the 2024/2025 school year to do those graduating out. Those 
will be posted in the next few weeks.
•  The ballot needs to be posted for 30 days - Trina to post openings - vote in April
