PTO Meeting Minutes 4/2/24

 

-       Principal report:

-       eclipse on Monday - “normal-ish” day of school

-       Around 2pm

-       Most classes outside around that time

-       Every student will have glasses/ straps available K-2

-       Indoor recess from 1230- end of school

 

-       5th grade pic. submissions:

-       Now

-       Pinned to top of facebook page

 

-       City 2 game:

-     5/12

-       $15 per ticket - $5 per ticket back to bowles

-       General seating - no assigned seats

 

-       Party on the pavement:

-     4/19 6-730pm

-       Bubble van 6-7pm

-       Scouts selling hot dogs - cash

-       Kona, pretzel boys, coffee truck - cash or card

-       Not a drop off event

 

-       Spring bookfair

-       BOGO

-       E-wallet available

-       Signup for volunteers sent in email and facebook

 

-       Spring spirit wear store

-       Didnt meet min. sales to get kickback

-       Ideas:

-       Spiritwear fridays?

-       Push up earlier in beginning of school year

-       Fliers with QR code at PTO table at meet the teacher night

 

-       Treasurer report:

-       Updated budget

-       Bowles bucks:

-       hoop/ backboards (still waiting on brackets?)

-       Soccer nets - need to be attached

-     Regulation rolling goals next year?

-       projector/ screen - getting bids

 

-       Staff/ teacher appreciation
